Don’t be fooled by imposters! Many countries grow Kalamata-type olives, or alternatively Alfonso Olives, which some sell as Kalamata Olives. Our Kalamata Olives are actually Kalamata Olives from Kalamata, Greece. They are low in salt and preserved in red-wine vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Don’t like those awkward pits? Through a very elaborate process, these olives are pitted (meaning they have had the pits extracted).
