Our Peza Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from the Peza region of the Island Crete, Greece.
As the winner of several worldwide competitions, the oil carries the status of P.D.O (Protected Designated Origin). Just like there is champagne and everything else is sparkling wine, there is Peza and everything else is Olive Oil. The glass bottle is tinted green to offer some protection from Sunlight, helping to protect its quality and emerald green color. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with the seal of the European Union. It has a milder flavor than our other traditional estate-bottled Extra Virgin, but without any grassy (raw olive) notes.
